A Personal Mission

Some careers choose you. When I was a teenager, my dad—a small-town auto mechanic with no college degree—worked hard to provide for our family. He loved cars and he loved my brother and me and poured his passion into his work and into a classic ’69 Mercury Cougar he was secretly restoring to give me on my 16th birthday. A few days before my birthday, he took it out for one final test drive on a cold, December night, lost control on a patch of black ice, and never came home. That night shaped me in many ways, and it could’ve shattered my future dreams as well. But my dad loved his family and acted on some financial advice he had received a few years earlier—I had a Guardian Angel—a good friend of my dad’s in financial services had advised him to buy some life insurance and make sure to complete his will. That decision ensured that I was taken care of—I was able to graduate from college debt-free, start my own business and buy the engagement ring I needed to start my own family. I lost my dad that night, but not the life he had always envisioned for me. Today, I’m a financial advisor because I know how much one decision can shape a life and a family’s future. It’s not just about numbers for me—it’s about the people I get to serve, protecting them and those they love and the power that their trust gives me to transform lives for generations down their family lines. That’s what drives me every day. I’m not here just to help you crunch some numbers or put together an investment portfolio—any financial advisor can do that—my mission is to put you on a path to building true wealth and to ensure the people you care about reap the rewards of our work long after we’re gone.
